King City SC · 2025–26 results review

This worked sample uses OCI’s regular youth scored singles coverage. It does not include artistic, dance, championships or unpublished results.

King City recorded 22 completed appearances in 4 of the 15 covered events, with 4 top-three finishes and 0 WD/DQ entries. Entries may repeat the same skater and do not measure membership.

The highest eligible category mean is STAR 5 Women (O13); the lowest is STAR 5 Women (O13). These identify useful areas for evidence review, not strengths or weaknesses of a named coach. Category and field differences limit cross-category interpretation.

Category report card

Five percentile-eligible appearances are needed per family. The overall score averages eligible family means equally and requires at least ten appearances across included families. A score of 70 is a position-in-field summary, not “better than 70% of clubs.” Broad percentile ranges describe variation among club appearances; they do not establish individual consistency.

Coverage and withheld evidence

8 completed appearances are outside the overall-score subset. These include low-sample families and any one-finisher groups without percentiles. Withdrawals and disqualifications are separately excluded from performance calculations.

Selected peer comparisons

Each row can use a different shared category basket, so the King City score can differ between peers and from the overall profile score. Both clubs need five eligible appearances in each included family. We retain group-local percentiles and weight shared families equally. Groups can differ in competitive strength; no causal coaching conclusion follows.

These are proposed actions, not existing commitments. Athlete priorities should be discussed privately and agreed with the skater. Success should be measured through completed actions and evidence, not guaranteed placement gains.

Meeting questions

1. Which outcomes reflect program construction, and which reflect execution? What does video review show?
2. Are technical-credit issues recurring within a category or across multiple skaters?
3. What are the two or three most useful priorities for each skater?
4. What will be measured in full-program practice before the next competition?
5. When will the team review progress, and what evidence would change the plan?

Open by acknowledging specific successes, then discuss concrete calls. Results do not reveal effort, motivation, injuries or emotional wellbeing.

Sources, calculation rules and correction record

Results were calculated from OCI’s validated snapshot available on 5 October 2026. Four quarantined category summaries across the historical archive do not contribute. Coverage is selected regular-series youth scored singles, not all Ontario skating. Original summaries undergo row, rank and score-order checks; detailed-protocol spot checks do not constitute a complete audit.

Percentile = 100 × (finishers − rank) ÷ (finishers − 1). WD/DQ and one-finisher groups do not enter percentiles. Results and peer tables are based on source affiliation; training location and coach responsibility are not inferred. No cross-season score trend or single score across disciplines is presented.
